Beyond the Diagnosis is a three-part documentary series, made with Inherited Cancers (formerly Pink Hope), following Susan, Rhiannon and Keely as each confronts her own experience with a Triple Negative Breast Cancer diagnosis.
We directed and produced the series end to end, sitting with each woman and her family to tell three distinct, deeply personal stories over 4 months of treatment and the reality of living with cancer. The intention was intimacy and honesty over spectacle, holding space for fear, resilience, and the people who carry you through.
Three episodes, three women, one community. The series puts real faces and real stories to a diagnosis that too often goes unspoken, made in service of the Inherited Cancers community.
Susan and Keely are no longer with us. Their bravery and friendship through this project will inspire me forever.
