01 / LOGLINE
My first music video, and a dream brief to open with. Made In Partners brought me on to concept and direct Point of No Return for Australian icon Ricki-Lee, with one shoot day at the Calder Park Thunderdome to get it.
02 / TREATMENT
Eight scenes in a single day, cameras rolling by 6.30am. We built the film on speed and scale: an FPV drone threading the Thunderdome, a full grip and lighting crew, and Ricki-Lee holding the centre of every frame. Cinematic, kinetic and matched to the energy of the track.
03 / FINAL CUT
The film travelled further than any of us expected, drawing feedback from fans all over the world. It is the project that opened the door to music video work at Cinema Thom, and a day on set I still think about.
